Should the roughly 12 million illegal aliens in the US today get a special deal for citizenship?

They broke the rules. Forget those who immigrated here legally. What about all the ones that are still in their home countries that were denied and had to stay there and chose not to break the rules? What about them? The people who broke the rules should be deported. But they need to make the requirements for a green card less strict because USA has some of the strictest immigration laws, right next to countries like Thailand and Australia (where I live sometimes until I have to leave thanks to Visa problems).
