Female name that has an evil meaning for story i'm writing?
jezebel. an old name from the scriptures. you might use "isabella", it has been used from time to time, " a continental ingenue/woman ,of beauty and intrigue, diabolicle and unpredictable " that phrase would certainly be applicable to a 1940's era english style mystery. she can be aristocratic english from the upper cles, who had the advantages of being schooled in some of the best european schools,. it gives you a range of latitude in fleshing out her character and personality. i find the literary genre fascinating from the 40's, you can be very creative and still bring a fine level of credibility and believeability to a mcript of this genre. best of luck .i would like to look over your shoulder as this work develops. fascinating and a mentally stimulating challenge. the ideas that come to mind !!! from the "blitz", to clubs, formal get togethers,, riding in the country, night fogs around the docks and warves, yanks and brits having a"mix" i really get a tableau of imagery to put into prose. it's like finding just the right lyrics to fit a melody. i hope isabella works for you.
