Does anyone else think the press releasing the fact that today is Madeline's birthday was wrong ?

I was just wondering if it was a good idea to make the wee girl's birthday public, obviously whoever abducted her is a sicko and the fact that today is her birthday may gear them into taking some sort of action (for the worse)..
