Bored depressed and guilty?

Reading this post makes me depressed. The good thing is, you're able to see that your family before you have not been successful in life and you're young. You have a long life ahead of you and you can achieve anything. A GED is not necessarily a bad thing. You can still go to college with a GED but honeslty, there are so many good trade schools where you can become and IT Tech or computer programmer. You can even go to Pilot school. Your GED isn't really a bad thing. I know people who have a Diploma but got really bad grades in school and just reading your post lets me know that you are very intelligent. Don't be depressed. Get online and start searching for the best trade schools in your area. Sign yourself up! You never know...a lot of these schools now offer Degrees. I personally think you have the potential to be very successful in life.
