Do you think manchester deserved to be epl winner and uefa champions league finalist?

well as for as epl concern i did not see many good teams except man city, stoke city and bolton last season .ofcours man united deserved to be the champions but did they face any challenge? Q2: did man united play ANY good and strong team in whole champions league?
