Can i use a copper feeder wire with the meter and breaker box having aluminum contacts?

i am running the feeder wire from my breaker box to the meter box, and the only wire i can get and that the woman at lowes recommended for me was 3/0 copper wire, but the meter box and the breaker box both have aluminum contacts and lugs. will that be ok? i know your not suppose to mix aluminum with copper, but what about for this?
